The overall aim of my company is to give my clients a comprehensive
maintenance and repair service for injured muscles and joints,
specializing in back, neck, shoulder and stress related disorders.
Due to the nature of the individual treatments, some of them
are more suited to the workplace or to the clinic but the
main core treatments are available in all locations.
The treatments are listed in an alphabetical sequence for
simplicity, but they are all as important as each other -
indeed it is seldom possible to effect a sustainable cure
without a combination of them supported by a preventative
program. With improved awareness of your body's structural
design, its nutritional needs and routine sessions, you can
finally address that pain that you always "put up with" and
achieve your ambitions on a day by day improvement basis.
People are becoming increasingly aware that the typical
N.H.S. response today (driven by the gigantic and powerful
pharmaceutical industry) is to treat the symptoms rather
than the problem, a cynical observer would draw the conclusion
that this is to ensure you come back month after month for
further medication. Wouldn't it be nice to see a specialist
and allow them to address the problem in order to get rid
of the symptoms instead? If you mask the pain, but the injury
remains, isn't it obvious that the imbalance and subsequent
wear & tear will only serve to do more damage whilst
you remain blissfully ignorant of the damage you are doing
to yourself?
I have lost count of the number of people who have said
to me, "I have a pain in one limb, but I suppose it's
my age" - to which my response is "and how old
is your other limb.... the one that doesn't hurt?".
Another discussion I often have is regarding the lack of
knowledge the average G.P. has when addressing muscle and
joint problems, please remember though that there is a limit
to the amount of knowledge anybody can have when faced with
the huge diversity presented to them on a daily basis, and
that a GP is far better than me at bacterial or viral diseases.

Manipulation
A treatment familiar to clients of Osteopaths and
Chiropractors, skeletal manipulation re-aligns the various components
of
the skeleton. Many pains, even in remote parts of the body,
are referred from slight deviations in the spine's functional
norm.
On-site
chair
A mobile service for use in offices, corporate
events and the workplace in general, on-site chair treatments
address
stress and tension - particularly in the upper back, neck
and shoulders - so it is ideal for people employed in activities
such as IT. & receptionists using computers all day,
dentists & mechanics who adopt unnatural postures to
carry out their duties, and people who drive on a regular
basis.

Orthotics
Individually designed footwear inserts that ease
discomfort caused by foot defects (such as flat feet) which
affect the
posture. If the feet are not performing their function correctly
it is similar to a house having a poor foundation - stresses
occur that damage the structure.

Remedial massage
Regular remedial massage treatments not
only bring pain relief but also reduce the chances of new
injuries. Remedial
massage is deeper than the "smells and bells" styles
of massage and addresses muscular problems.

Routine sessions
In order to help maintain a healthy muscle
tone, it is beneficial to have a regular program of treatments.
Once every four
weeks is advised.

Sports injuries
This type of treatment is not limited to sport
activists - a racquet is not a pre-requisite of tennis elbow. Sport
injury treatments address tendon and ligament damages.
